Joshua Lucio | Space Jockey, is a San Antonio-based DJ, VJ, and mixed-media artist driven by heavy frequencies, visual experimentation, and DIY culture.
From 2017 to 2024, Joshua ran Forum Sound, an audio/video collective built to give local DJs, producers, and visual artists a proper space to experiment. For seven years, he curated events and gave creators hands-on access to projectors, video gear, and sound systems to bring unconventional ideas to life without restrictions.
As a DJ and curator, he’s shared stages with artists like 6Blocc, Bukkha, Dave Owen, Jamalski, Soulfiya, McPullish, and El Dusty. Alongside his music, his visual work evolved through circuit-bent analog video, vintage mixers, video synths, and CRT monitors blending raw image and sound into a single discipline.
That crossover led directly to Space Jockey, Joshua’s current project exploring low-frequency music and visual culture. Moving fluidly through techno, jungle, d&b, juke, house, phonk, and experimental left-field bass, Space Jockey is an evolving audiovisual ride built on heavy textures and a strict DIY mentality.
